Peel the apples.

Core the apples.

Slice apples, place in microwave-friendly glass bowl, and add the sugar, water and cinnamon

Ingredients: Apples, sugar (1/4 cup for each 5-6 apples. 1/4-1/2 teaspoon cinnamon or to taste. 4-6 oz water.

Cover sliced apple mixture with platsic wrap

Place bowl into microwave for 10-15 minutes . Check the mixture for doneness. If too lumpy, microwave 5 minutes more or until you are happy with applesauce texture.
